How does Bucks County Totes work?

Choose a package that fits your move, schedule your delivery date and we'll bring clean, reusable moving totes directly to your door. Once you're finished unpacking, we'll return to pick them up at your new location.

 

What areas do you serve?

We currently serve Bucks County, Pennsylvania and select areas of Hunterdon County, New Jersey. If you're unsure whether you're within our delivery area, contact us and we'll be happy to help.

 

How long do I keep the totes?

Most packages include a standard 2 or 4 week rental period. Additional weeks may be added for an additional fee if you need more time. You can also choose our custom package to reserve a specific amount and timeline.

 

What if I need extra time?

No problem. Simply contact us before your scheduled pickup date and we'll do our best to extend your rental period.

 

What if I need more totes?

Additional totes may be added to your rental based on inventory availability. Contact us and we'll help with your order.

 

Are the totes clean?

Yes. Every tote is cleaned and disinfected before delivery to ensure it arrives ready for use.

 

What size are the totes?

We use durable, heavy-duty moving totes designed to hold household and office items securely while making packing and moving easier than traditional cardboard boxes.

 

Do I need to assemble anything?

No. Our totes arrive ready to use. Simply open the attached lid and start packing. Just snap lid closed when finished.

 

Do you provide moving services?

No. Bucks County Totes is a tote rental company only. We do not pack, load, transport, unload or move customer belongings.

For customers age 70 and older, we offer tote loading and transfer service from one residence to another when both locations are within a 20 mile radius of Tinicum Township (totes only - no furniture included). Additional fee: $59 for 10-20 totes, $99 for 21-55 totes, $149 for 56-125 totes.

Can I use Bucks County Totes if I'm also hiring mover?

Absolutely. Many customers rent our totes and then hire professional movers to load and transport them along with their furniture. The sturdy stackable design makes them easy to stack and helps keep belongings organized throughout the move.

 

Do you provide a dolly?

Yes. A dolly is included with all rental packages to make moving totes easier and more efficient. 

 

What if a tote is damaged?

Normal wear and tear is expected. If equipment is damaged due to misuse, neglect or intentional damage, repair or replacement charges may apply. The totes are made with heavy-duty, professional-grade material.

 

What happens if a tote is lost or not returned?

Customers are responsible for rental equipment during the rental period. Lost or unreturned totes may be subject to replacement fees.

 

What if it rains?

Our totes are made from durable material and perform much better in wet weather than cardboard boxes. However, customers remain responsible for making sure lids are closed properly to protect the contents packed inside the totes.

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure online payment processor.

 

When is payment due?

Payment is due before delivery unless otherwise arranged.

 

Can I cancel my reservation?

Yes. Cancellations made at least 72 hours before your scheduled delivery date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 72 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee (24-72 hours before delivery: $25 and less than 24 hours: $49.

 

What if I'm moving into a new home but don't have a closing date yet?

Contact us. We understand that moving dates can change and we'll work with you whenever possible to adjust your reservation.

 

Do you rent totes for businesses?

Absolutely. Our totes are a great solution for office relocations, business moves, file storage projects, inventory transfers and temporary organization needs.

 

How do I book?

Simply go to the Pricing page and select your package, this will take you to the reservation page. Choose your delivery date and complete your reservation online. If you have questions, we're always happy to help.
